Warm Western Lookbooks

The Candela Fall 2014 Catalog iHas a Golden Gloaming Glow

The Candela Fall 2014 lookbook focuses on the warm golden hues the autumn season is often celebrated for. Although the scenery is clearly contrived, the gloaming backdrop and wheat-filled fields are the perfect surroundings for the blues and neutrals of the Western-inspired wardrobe.

As written by RoandCo Studio, which provided art direction and design, the Candela Fall 2014 lookbook is "inspired by designer Gabriela Perezutti’s upbringing in Uruguay[. W]e created an environment evocative of the sprawling landscapes, radiant skylines and lush vegetation of her family’s horse ranch." Shot by photographer Tom Hines, the set was designed by Kadu Lennox and Taylor Patterson of Fox Fodder Farm. The overall look is reminiscent of Terrence Malick's 'Days of Heaven.' Andre Gunn and Stevie Huynh were on beauty duty.
