Christopher Ward joins forces with Mr Jones to launch the Calibre JJ04 timepiece. It is a piece that honors the celestial moon phase as the two British watchmakers created a distinctive silhouette. The playful design features two purple swallows in a nightscape background -- one of these tracks the minutes at the outer edge and the other indicates the hour.
These bird motifs are just above the pastel blue tonal clouds. The background has a deep blue base detailed with silver stars. Watts explained, “My design celebrates the beauty of the night sky in a playful way. I was inspired by the magical feeling of sitting outside to watch the sunset, and staying there till day transitions into night.”
