There are a few paintings that have been able to stand the test of time, and this building block artwork has completely transformed the classics.

Artist Nathan Sawaya, who is the master of building pieces out of LEGO, has used LEGO in order to rejuvenate classic paintings. He has taken the most famous works of Edvard Munch, Leonardo da Vinci and Auguste Rodin and used them as inspiration. It is amazing how close Sawaya has been able to replicate the pieces. All the colors are correct, and the details he was able to add are incredible. He has been able to accurately replicate traditional artwork, and bring them into the 21st Century. These examples of building block artwork prove that beautiful art can be made out of anything, even LEGO.
