Women in a small village in New Zealand are launching the newest art trend: breast painting. Breast painting has been around for quite a while, but these women don't paint their breasts to expose them, they paint them to express themselves. The women at Buttercups Ceramic Studio in Hurworth cover their breasts with paint and squish them like a mammogram onto some plates to benefit charity.
"We decided on Breast Cancer Care plates because we have customers who are going through breast cancer. You just want to help, " Joanne Scott, of Buttercups. "And this is a fun way to raise money for a good cause."
The women do several designs, including pandas, cherries, Christmas puddings and bumble bees.
