Aimed at the fashionable and young celebrity set, Gucci's collection for Fall 2009 featured many bold graphic prints.
Patterns have been a mainstay on the runways this season with many designers taking their own twist.
Frida Giannini was no exception as she sent bold 80s style designs down the runway that heavily featured slicked-back hair, reflective shades and crimson red lips. They certainly popped against her moody dark pieces. Glamorous!
Implications - When a familiar style becomes popular again, the designers who are able to immediately reinterpret it into their products quickest are usually those who serve as the vanguard of the rejuvenated trend. What makes companies like Gucci successful year after year is that they have a reputation for being on the cutting edge of their industry, and are always ready to reinvent.
