Rick Owens Designs a Sleek Textural Boot Silhouette

Avant-Garde fashion designer Rick Owens launches a bondage-inspired footwear design in the form of high-top boots to join the brand's ongoing eclectic seasonal footwear selection. The silhouette is similar to the recently launched Bozo Chelsea boot that was unveiled two months ago.

This time around, the shoe is complete in a all-over black colorway at the upper to show off the sleek rubber texture of the shoe. There are tonal rubber overlays on top in a sporadic manner inspired by bondage straps. This component travels from the long tongue at the top all the way down to the midsole. This is interrupted by some silver tonal zippers at the medial areas and two ventilation perforations by the midsection and three staples at the heel.
