Biomimetic Facial Fillers

Merz Aesthetics Expands BELOTERO with New Cheek and Lip Fillers

Merz Aesthetics is expanding its biomimetic facial fillers portfolio with two FDA-approved BELOTERO treatments designed for personalized cheek and lip enhancements. BELOTERO VOLUME (+) addresses volume loss in the midface, while BELOTERO INTENSE (+) adds lip fullness while preserving natural facial movement.

Both treatments use the company's proprietary Cohesive Polydensified Matrix gel, which is engineered to blend with surrounding tissue and support natural-looking results. Clinical studies reported 95% patient satisfaction with VOLUME at 12 weeks, while INTENSE demonstrated maintained lip volume for up to 12 months. The additions complement BELOTERO BALANCE (+), which targets facial wrinkles and folds.

For Merz Aesthetics, the expanded collection strengthens its U.S. injectable offerings and provides healthcare professionals with more options for individualized treatments. The broader portfolio also addresses consumer interest in subtle enhancements, helping the company serve patients seeking results that preserve their appearance.
