Face-Feeding Frenzies

The Ines Figaredo Aperture Collection is Full of Feisty Purses

Spanish designer Ines Figaredo has started a face-feeding frenzy with these unusually stylish handbags. These "Big Girl Face" bags are from the Ines Figaredo Aperture Collection and are handmade with luxurious materials in Spain. The Big Girl Bag is made with Nappa leather, silk embroidery, 24-karat bronze, iguana skin and Swarovski crystals.

If you look carefully, you will notice that there is a difference in the designs: Figaredo has created both a happy face bag and a sad face bag. The sad face bag features Swarovski tears. The Big Girl Face bag is offered in two sizes. The large Big Girl Face Bag is 25 cm x 25 cm x 14 cm and the small Big Girl Face Bag is 17 cm x 17 cm x 12 cm. Each bag's face is hand-painted and the hair is made of braided rope that is also hand-painted and sun-dried. The Big Girl Face bag comes with a coin purse and a pill box.

These bags retail for approximately $1,700 and are available at patriciafield.com.
