The new account options were announced a year after the launch of the Betterment platform. The Betterment accounts will have different release dates. The Betterment Everyday Savings account is currently available, the Betterment Everyday checking account will release later this year.
The Betterment Everyday Checking account will offer customers an FDIC insured checking account. it will also provide free withdrawals from any ATM around the world. It will also have no account fees, or overdraft fees, and no minimum balance rules.
The Betterment Everday Saving account will replace the company's previous savings account option. The account allows users to withdraw money at any time and is also FDIC insured.
