Daniel Johnson — June 19, 2019 — Tech
Wacom's new stylus is called the Bamboo Ink Plus, and it can be used on Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) as well as Wacom Active ElectroSatatic (AES) protocol. This means it can work on MPP devices like the Microsoft Surface, as well as AES devices like the Lenovo Thinkpad. Users are able to switch the pen's protocols by holding both side buttons, enabling an easy shift between devices.
Where previous versions of a stylus from the company relied on AAAA batteries, the new Ink Plus model is rechargeable. Users can plug the new Bamboo Ink Plus into a USB in order to top off the batteries. Also, featured are three different nibs for the pen, including soft, medium and firm. The Stylus has a $99.95 price point and is currently available.
