New York’s Colbo has partnered with Sperry to revive the Authentic Original Boat Shoe, unveiling two vintage-inspired colorways. It is comprised of Weathered Sahara and Distressed Taupe. Crafted in the U.S., the collaboration features pre-washed cow-grain leather uppers and archival-style collapsible heels, paired with leather outsoles reminiscent of Sperry’s 1970s and ’80s models.

The launch follows an initial limited drop from Colbo and coincides with a wider Sperry release on July 14, priced at $225 USD, with pre-orders shipping by July 18This collaboration emphasizes both heritage craftsmanship—like wave-siping traction soles and moc construction—and contemporary appeal, underlining Sperry’s ongoing revival strategy that blends classic silhouettes with artisanal storytelling.
