Northern Lights-Inspired Bathrooms

The Aurora Collection by DesignLibero Glows Spectacularly

The Aurora Collection by DesignLibero, a Milan-based design studio founded by Libero Rutilo and Ekaterina Shchetina, is a series of bathroom furniture that has been inspired by the natural phenomenon that is the northern lights. The shower, washbasin and bathtub have been backlit with sweeping lines that emit a soft glow reminiscent of the Aurora Borealis.

Since the Aurora Collection by DesignLibero utilizes cost-efficient and eco-friendly LEDs, this touch is far from irresponsible. Not to mention that by changing colors, it has a soothing and therapeutic effect that goes a long way after a hard day. People won't even have to turn on the actual bathroom lights thanks to these fixtures.

The Aurora Collection by DesignLibero receive a special prize in Cristalplant Design Concept 2013 organized in collaboration with Falper.
