Modified Tennis Sneakers

ASICS x Little Tokyo Table Tennis Reworks the GEL-Resolution 5 Sneaker

ASICS x Little Tokyo Table Tennis transforms the archival GEL-Resolution 5 into a lifestyle sneaker through extensive material and design updates. Polyurethane is used as a primary material to reference the relationship between paddle and ball in table tennis. The medial side removes the traditional Tiger Stripe, while the lateral side features a transparent gradient ASICS Stripe that emphasizes movement. The collaboration is offered in two colorways with contrasting visual treatments.

One version combines a yellow-green knit mesh upper with transparent TPU panels, metallic silver overlays, and a heel cage that fades into icy blue. The second version pairs a white mesh upper with red laces, custom typography, handcrafted insole graphics, embroidered Little Tokyo Table Tennis Kanji, and an embossed "40++++" tongue detail. FF BLAST PLUS cushioning, a gum outsole, an ASICS lace lock system, and an alternative knotless lacing option complete the release.
