Revived Retro Bulky Runners

Umbro's ARP Collection Dives Into its Archival Footwear Designs

Umbro explores nostalgic themes with the latest ARP collection, which stands for Archive Research Project. The English footwear label dives into its archives, highlighting some silhouettes from the 90s, when chunky structures thrived. The label was often recognized for its Umbro logo as it was seen on the chest of some of the most iconic soccer teams during the FIFA World Cup during 1994.

It also marked a time where the label unveiled a plethora of sneakers, which are revived for this season. The three sneakers in the ARP capsule include the 'Exert Max,' the 'Neptune,' and the 'Runner M' sneakers. The Runner M arrived in 1997 created for soccer purposes with its breathability, cushioning, and flexible elements. The Neptune has a face lacing system, technical mesh, and modernistic midsole to deliver comfortable sensibilities. The Exert Max sneaker is designed for aerobic functions with a large outsole and paneling uppers did up in suede and leather materials.
