Work focused on migration, image capture and OCR: the app straightens and crops envelope covers, extracts vendor names and pattern numbers, and filters barcode data. The developer trained models to ignore barcodes, added searchable OCR fields and used Wispr Flow for most voice prompting. Parallel agents and background tasks initially caused stuck processes and token consumption, prompting stricter agent instructions.
The result shows how IDE-level agentic AI can speed solo development, turning tedious refactors and ML feature work into hours instead of months. For consumers, this promises faster rollout of niche, ML-enabled mobile utilities and highlights the need for better agent management and visibility in developer tools.
