Tarikh Korula is a New York-based entrepreneur and hacker. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Mahaya, which launched its first product – the ‘Seen’ app. The currently Beta application is an engine that combines relevant photographs, videos of live events worldwide and displays them in the form of a timeline on ‘Seen.’ Through searching the Internet, ranking and organizing trending social media, the app provides an even more efficient and convenient way of accessing information instead of having to go through the trouble of searching for media from Facebook, YouTube, Flickr etc.

Korula uses social media giants like Twitter and Instagram to hone in on the biggest events that are currently happening in the world, including music festivals, concerts, conferences, fashion shows etc. This immediacy is especially crucial when dealing with live events and is optimized through tags, associated key words, titles and the employees at ‘Seen’ that help to better enhance the visibility and navigation throughout the social medium.
