Danish furniture imprint TAKT works in collaboration alongside Anderssen & Voll on the Spoke sofa, which is its first sofa launch. The design highlights circular processes and takes repair in mind to ensure that the furniture lives a long life and is low-waste.
Visually, it appears that the sofa is made up of two parts: the cushioned sections and the wooden support that rests underneath and behind the seating solution. Torbjørn Anderssen, co-founder of Anderssen & Voll speaks about the Spoke to Design Milk, stating that it "certainly has a Danish flavor to it, which is appropriate for TAKT, but also something about the no-nonsense woodwork that makes us think about Japan. So it’s in between those two design cultures, creating something familiar but new."
