American Beagle Outfitters is Realized After Successful April Fools' Day Joke

Although the American Beagle Outfitters line began as a playful prank earlier this year, it has now become a full fledged line just in time for the holidays. The initial line may have been pulled off to benefit the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, but now American Eagle Outfitter customers can enjoy winter-friendly designs that will have their dogs matching them in no time.

In regards to the fruition of American Beagle Outfitters, Michael Leedy, chief marketing officer of American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., says, "Our customers were very clear about their desire for this product to become a reality." From down-filled jackets to knitted sweaters and even a couple of beanies reading 'Bone Zone' and 'Hump Day,' dogs will be able to stay warm in style this year.
