For some, the idea of having wires laying around on the floor isn’t ideal, so perhaps the Air Voltage would be more fitting for the home.

Maxwell Japan’s the Air Voltage is touted to be the first of its kind. This is a tablet charger that’s actually wireless, which is unusual and great at the same time. The company has integrated a charging pad (Energy Stand) and jacket (Energy Cover) that eliminates the mess of tangled cables laying on the floor. All the user has to do is to insert their tablets onto the jacket and it’s good to go. The Air Voltage charges on 10W and it takes about three hours for a full charge. Users will also have the option of place the tablet in portrait or landscape position -- whatever is more comfortable to use as it’s charging.
