The Air Jordan Font is Created Using Image Renderings of Classic Kicks

Created as a celebratory way to help acknowledge the infamous shoe, the Air Jordan font is rendered using images of classic designs from years passed. Although it would appear as though the numbers are crafted from actual shoes, the font itself is created using sophisticated computer software and a keen eye from Will C. Smith, who spearheaded the project.

Nicknamed the Legacy font, the Air Jordan font is being used in a worldwide marketing campaign by the footwear retailer to help enhance the brands focus on the future while channeling the past. The Air Jordan font is also being used in the brand's clothing sector with t-shirts and other apparel featuring the iconic series of digits.
