The 'Aerodrums 2' is an innovative set of air drums that uses an included camera module to be able to track drumsticks in the drummer's hand as well as their foot movements in order to be able to produce authentic drum sounds.
The system, which can be used with headphones, comes with a companion smartphone app that users can wield to see a three-dimensional depiction of a virtual drum kit along with animated depictions of their hands and feet playing it.
The fact of the matter is that drum kits tend to require a lot of space and ideally call for a garage or other large space in which to play without disturbing the neighbors, but this is a luxury that's not available to most people, including touring musicians staying in hotel rooms. The 'Aerodrums 2' product tackles this issue by allowing drummers to practice and play without making noise and without requiring a ton of space.
