The L'Officiel Turkey September 2013 Edition Features Ahu Yagtu

The primary focus of the L’Officiel Turkey September 2013 'Dark Darling' editorial is the vintage shop owner turned model, Ahu Yagtu. The look that Yagtu has combines perfectly with the retro style clothing that she dawns in this dreamlike editorial.

Photographer Emre Dogru was able to capture Ahu Yagtu in various settings that all serve as a juxtaposition to the clothing worn. Industrial backgrounds are color blurred to give a hazy effect that makes the editorial have a surreal quality to it.

Stylist Ayca Elkap did a wonderful job picking the clothing combinations for the shoot as they play on the strengths of Yagtu's look. The blue theme of the collection has a regal feel to it that fits the debonair setups that were captured.
