Singtel has introduced a new initiative that makes its Perplexity AI’s advanced search service free for broadband, TV, and mobile customers. The offer lasts one year and is valued at approximately $197.

Perplexity Pro is compatible with multiple languages including English, Chinese, French, and Japanese. It allows users to choose from various AI models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Grok, as well as its own proprietary models built on Meta’s Llama 3.1. This flexibility enables users to customize their search experience to suit their specific needs. Singtel’s decision follows a notable 20% increase in traffic to AI assistant domains over the past six months. These numbers reflect rising consumer interest in AI-driven solutions for everyday tasks. The initiative is also compatible with the growing trend of telecom operators who integrate AI tools into their service offerings
