adidas Canada is making a major play for hockey fans with two new partnerships that bring the sportswear giant closer to one of the NHL's most celebrated franchises. The brand has been named the Official Athletic Apparel and Athletic Footwear Partner of the Montreal Canadiens, while star winger Cole Caufield joins the adidas family as a brand ambassador under a multi-year agreement.
“The Canadiens are woven into the fabric of Montreal and NHL history and are recognized by fans around the world as one of the most iconic teams in all of sport,” said Kelly Graham, Head of Marketing, adidas Canada. “This partnership marks an exciting step in our commitment to sport in Canada and the connection adidas has to the hockey community. Our global brand campaign, You Got This, is rooted in self-belief, embracing a positive mindset and the joy of the game. We’re thrilled to bring this message to life with these partnerships.”
The partnership will bring adidas branding throughout Montreal's Bell Centre, from rinkside boards to the player tunnel, while Caufield will appear in upcoming Canadian campaigns. Both partnerships will build on adidas' global 'You Got This' platform, which celebrates self-belief, positivity, and the joy of sport.
