Google Meets Integrates Adaptive Audio Features

Google recently introduced the adaptive audio tool as a part of Google Meets which allows Google Workspace users to have an alternative to videoconferencing equipment. If their package features AI tools, which optimizes the various laptops nearby to merge their speakers and microphones together for better audio as a whole. This should be beneficial to small organizations that do not have equipment readily available.

Google explains that it will be slowly rolling out the functions in the coming weeks to "Google Workspace customers with the Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Business, Gemini Education, Gemini Education Premium, and the AI Meetings and Messaging add-on.” Once this process is rolled through, it will be automatically turned on by default and users can manually shut it off.
