Although the game has not changed, our platforms for playing it on most certainly has; the new 2D Abstract Chess Set by NMI Laser adds a whole new dimension to the strategic game of chess.

Frankly, I cannot think of a better way to adapt to the new era of abstract minimalist than upgrading my chess set to a transparently illuminated 2D version of it. Now that three dimension has lost its novelty, we can safely retrograde back to the second dimension with joy.
