Beaded Candy Necklaces

A Merry Mishap's Fall 2012 Collection is Reminiscent of Edible Sweets

A Merry Mishap's Fall 2012 collection is reminiscent of candy necklaces and bracelets. The adornments are commonly toted by schoolchildren in playgrounds and classrooms, but designer Jennifer Hagler has brought them into the mainstream jewelry market.

Rounded beads sold in light pinks, blues and pastel reds are pieced together on Hagler's gold chains. Strings that contain approximately six droplets hang low on the models in this Merry Mishap lookbook, sitting just below the color line in a delicate manner.

Described on her site as a novice photographer, crafter, foodie and hopeful globe trekker, Hagler makes her pieces in Idaho where she resides with her husband and son. The gold, pearl and brass bases make for durable, authentic products that are moreover appropriate for women of all ages.
