The editorial focuses on exploring the theme of death masks which is essentially a plaster mold of a deceased person's visage. These high-fashion masks follow the same premise of outlining a person's skeletal structure but with using colorful beads, spikes, makeup and even flowers. The illustrations are quite spooky to look thanks to the contrast of the black face pigment and the accessorized mask with the model's white eyes.
