Stone Island works in collaboration with New Balance on the special 991v2 Ghost sneaker model which is a part of the Made in UK series. The silhouette is essentially a new take on the 991 silhouette inspired by the Stone Island Ghost. Going even deeper, the ghost is derived from the concept of camouflage which is the rooted influence of it all.
The shoes are constructed from a blend of nubuck and synthetic leather overlaying on top of one another. It is also done with a mesh foundation for breathability. Other details include the ridged N logo on the side of the shoe for branding and it all rests on top of a clear outsole to show off the Stone Island Compass logo.
