Aimé Leon Dore & New Balance Grow Their 550 Collaboration

Aimé Leon Dore works in collaboration with New Balance to continue growing its 550 collaboration that highlights the retro sneaker model. The shoes were originally made for basketball performance and Aimé Leon Dore calls them 'basketball oxfords.' The shoes are now detailed with a clean tonal look that spotlights the textures over the upper and it joins the ongoing seasonal capsule.

Some of the latest 550 sneaker colorways are made available for raffle online on Aimé Leon Dore's website as of yesterday for the price of $130 each pair. It was first teased during Mid-September during the Aimé Leon Dore Uniform campaign. There are two minimal iterations of the shoe including a white with grey and beige details and a darker suede iteration with an off-white base.
