In an attempt to battle piracy and boost the Hong Kong film industry, Hong Kong filmmaker Stephen Shiu Jnr has announced that he will soon begin filming a $4 million dollar 3D porn movie named '3D Sex and Zen.'
"Given the fierce level of online piracy, making 3D movies is the only way ahead for Hong Kong cinema," Mr Shiu said.
The 3D effects can only be seen at cinemas are equipped with the necessary projectors and suitable 3D glasses for viewers.
A sequel to the 1991 erotic adventure movie Sex and Zen, the world's first 3D adult film, will be in Chinese and while only 25 to 30 percent of the movie will be sex scenes, the producers are promising some of the most realistic close-up sex scenes ever.
"Just imagine that you'll be watching it as if you were sitting beside the bed," Stephen Shiu Jnr told the Sunday Morning Post.
