With the 2014 Golf Masters now behind us, elite players are on the look-out for high-performance golf shoes that will help give them an edge out on the green. Recreation golfers bitten by the Golf Masters might also want to get themselves some new golf kicks, and many of them will be considering the FJ City shoes from Footjoy.
The FJ City shoes have the style and elegance of street shoes, but feature full-grain waterproof leather uppers and stylish laces. The FJ City features modern technology including an EVA-cushioned midsole for heightened comfort and a DuraMax rubber outsole. The shoes even come with seven Softspikes Pulsar cleats, providing increased stability and traction.
"FJ City was inspired by modern trends and it's a sophisticated balance between performance and style," says Doug Robinson, FootJoy's VP of Design and Development. "Each design element, material and color combination was carefully selected in order to deliver a polished, well-crafted shoe."
The FJ City shoes will be made available on April 15, just two days after the conclusion of the 2014 Golf Masters at the Augusta National. They will retail for $180 a pair.
