CableMod has created a brand new 90-degree adapter for the 16-pin 12VHPWR power plug found on Nvidia’s RTX 4090. The adapter is designed to significantly reduce the power cable’s profile and make the 90-degree bend less obtrusive. The CableMod 12VHPWR 90-Degree Angled Adapter plugs into your graphics card’s 16-pin 12VHPWR port and enables the power cable to be plugged in at a 90-degree angle. The adapter only protrudes 21mm from your graphics card, which means increased space and more clearance between your GPU and your side panel.
The CableMod 12VHPWR 90-Degree Angled Adapter is available for pre-order starting October 31st. It is also available in two variants: a 90-degree adapter and a 180-degree adapter. The advantage of this adapter is that you don’t need to bend your PCIe cable/adapter, limiting the risks of melting the connector.
