KTM Announced its First-Ever Road Car, the 'X-Bow GT-XR'

'KTM,' the Austrian manufacturer of motorcycles and other two-wheeled transportation solutions, recently announced that it is entering the four-wheel road car market with the 'X-Bow GT-XR.' This is a carbon fiber supercar based on the previously released 'X-Bow' track cars from KTM. The original X-Bow launched in 2008 and the more recent X-Bow GT2 debuted in 2020. However, none of these are street legal.

With the X-Bow GT-XR marking the first street legal road car from the brand, it is expected that more consumers in the supercar and hypercar space will become familiarized with the Austrian automaker. According to KTM, the GT-XR boasts 493 horsepower and weighs only 2,755 lbs, thanks to its full carbon fiber frame and carbon fiber-filled interior.

This horsepower combined with the vehicle's weight results in a 0-62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 174 miles per hour.
