Velotric Launched the 'Nomad 1' with an Entry-Level Price Tag

The Velotric Nomad 1 is the latest release from the Menlo Park, California-based electric micro-mobility startup. The Nomad 1 is a fat-tire all-terrain e-bike with the ergonomics and suspension to support this claim. The bike comes with an adjustable cushy seat and adjustable handlebars that compliment a few different riding positions. On top of this, the bike is equipped with a suspension fork that features 80mm of travel, allowing for comfortable off-terrain riding.

In terms of its power output, the Nomad 1 boasts a motor that outputs a continuous 750W with a peak of 1,200W. This is combined with the bike's 692 Wh battery to deliver up to 55 miles of range per charge, based on the level of pedal assistance and the driving conditions. While the bike does not come stock with racks for mountable storage, it does support a maximum payload of 200 kg, or roughly 440 lbs, to support accessories.

The Velotric Nomad 1 retails for $1,600 USD and is available directly from Velotric.
