Qualcomm Has Launched an All-In-One 5G Chip Dubbed the Snapdragon X70

American tech giant Qualcomm has announced the launch of its Snapdragon X70, a new 5G chip for mobile devices that's powered by cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology.

The new chip is particularly unique because it combines a modem with an RF front end while also leveraging what the company has called "the world’s first 5G artificial intelligence processor." As a result, the Snapdragon X70 supports both sub-6-gigahertz and mmWave versions of 5G and can deliver download speeds up to 10 GB per second.

"Snapdragon X70 is an example of how we’re realizing the full potential of 5G and making an intelligently connected world possible," said Durga Malladi, senior vice president and general manager of Qualcomm’s 5G, Mobile Broadband and Infrastructure Group.
