MING has unveiled a look at its new Project 21 timepiece which is a special launch that came into fruition from a challenge that was given by the founder of the brand, Ming Thein. This occurred back at a collector's dinner that took place in 2023.
The challenge was to create a timepiece for himself that has limits that are feasible but free of other constraints. Ten collectors partook in the project's commitment and worked on creating a unique horological piece that meets his personal design preferences and practical manufacturing. The root of the project is the Frederic Piguet 21 which is a movement known for its historic significance and its extremely thin profile first launched in 1925.
