Intellistake Technologies has announced a collaborative initiative with Orbit AI that aims to deploy a blockchain infrastructure within the AI-Enabled Orbital Cloud Network.
The proposed Orbital Cloud system seeks to integrate artificial intelligence processing, global communication links, and a blockchain verification mechanism directly on satellites in low Earth orbit. The goal is to create an autonomous, space-based infrastructure for data handling. Under the agreement, Intellistake intends to supply the validator and node operations that would form the secure, transactional layer enabling satellites to authenticate information and coordinate computational tasks without reliance on terrestrial data centers.
Initial hardware deployments are projected to commence with a satellite launch before the end of 2025, followed by a broader constellation rollout in subsequent years.
