Casio America has introduced the G-SHOCK Luxe Black Collection — a series of four analog-digital wristwatches that apply premium all-black finishes and metallic accents to the brand's iconic octagonal silhouette.
The G-SHOCK Luxe Black Collection comprises the GA2100LXB-1A, GA2100LXB-1A9, GM2100LXB-1A, and GM2100LXB-1A9 silhouettes, with the latter two featuring black ion-plated metal bezels that distinguish them from their resin-cased counterparts. The design philosophy centers on a monochromatic palette elevated by subtle metallic brilliance. This is achieved through micro-textured dials that absorb light, vapor-deposited glass for a restrained sheen, and newly developed slim hands and indexes that enhance legibility.
The G-SHOCK Luxe Black Collection offers two accent variations, with silver-toned details on the 1A models and rich gold-toned accents on the 1A9 versions. Functionally, these timepieces retain the full suite of G-SHOCK capabilities, including 200-meter water resistance, world time across 48 cities, a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms, and a double LED Super Illuminator.
