Kanebo is Set to Debut a New Vernix-Inspired Cream Duo

Japanese skincare brand Kanebo is unveiling a new product inspired by the substance that appears on the skin of newborns. The new CREAM IN DAY II and CREAM IN NIGHT II are formulated with a biomimetic ingredient called TAISHI Complex, in addition to C10-40 isoalkyl acid cholesterol esters, phytosteryl macadamiate, and ceramide NG. The TAISHI Complex mimics the capabilities of vernix, helping protect and hydrate the skin while enhancing radiance and firmness.

CREAM IN DAY II also features niacinamide and licorice derivative, in addition to SPF 30 and PA +++ for protection against the sun's potentially harmful rays. The product also applies seamlessly under makeup, avoiding smudging and pilling. CREAM IN NIGHT II is also enhanced with niacinaminde, which works to lighten dark spots over time.
