The HOKA Skyward X 2 has been unveiled as an optimized version of the brand's namesake shoe model that has been reengineered with comfort, responsiveness and performance at its heart. The sneaker is focused on prioritizing responsiveness alongside stability and enhanced agility, while also keeping the brand's signature cushioning in tow. The shoe has had its stack height reduced and weight reduced in unison, while still keeping the 5mm heel-to-toe drop alongside a PEBA midsole foam and a carbon fiber plate for a smooth, snappy ride.
The HOKA Skyward X 2 is also paired with a new jacquard mesh construction to enhance overall breathability and fit, while a zonal padded tongue, refined padding and a lace loop system optimizes foot lockdown during long runs.
