Takt Launches the Spoke Sofa During 3 Days of Design

Flat-pack furniture has seen a spur in popularity in recent years as consumers appreciate the compactness of such pieces, and now Takt is looking to further advance innovation in this furniture design category with its flat-pack sofa. To be showcased during 3 Days of Design, Denmark's annual design festival, the Spoke Sofa saves space and is quite portable but it also figures as a budget-friendly piece.

The Danish furniture company developed the Spoke Sofa in collaboration with the Norwegian studio Anderssen & Voll. The design of the flat-pack sofa is "rooted in circular principles" and seeks to cut waste. Thus, the flat-pack silhouette can be easily disassembled and when broken, it allows for individual parts to be either replaced or repaired. Because of this, the flat-pack sofa design might be "passed down through generations by undergoing maintenance when required."
