10 Social Enterprise-Related Bonds

These social enterprise-related bonds attempt to change the way in which finance bonds work. Social impact bonds (SIB), which is also known as a Pay for Success Bond or a Social Benefit Bond, is often the way social enterprise-related bonds are discussed in the private, governmental and commonsensical realm. Almost three years ago, Social Finance United Kingdom, in September 2010, launched the first SIB and now they have become increasingly popular as a way to promote investment that stimulates innovation and creates positive social change in various communities.

Another idea that runs along the same line in terms of social enterprise-related bonds is the CSI Community Bond, which executive director Tonya Surman discussed at the 2011 Social Finance Forum.
