There are some designers that are legends in their own right, ones who have been working for decades, such as icons like John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld and Calvin Klein; then there are designers that are part of a new generation of the fashion world, and this includes the ones behind brands like Alexander Wang, Thakoon and Proenza Schouler.

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are the designers behind Proenza Schouler. The two met while studying at the Parsons School of Design and in 2004, they were awarded with the prestigious CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund award.

Since then, Proenza Schouler has quickly become one of the most extravagant and lusted-after brands in the entire fashion industry. Hernandez has been famously quoted as saying, "I often wonder, sometimes I think the people who buy our clothes live in a parallel universe. Hell, we can't even afford our clothes."
