The new Amazon Fire TV has a bunch of competitors. Apple TV, Netflix, Chromecast and the Roku 3 are just a few of the companies trying to take control of the media streaming industry.

This list compiles the biggest competitors of the new Amazon Fire TV. Many of the media streaming devices have a lot in common, but they do differ in a few ways. The size of the device, price, functionality and hardware being used are all points of a debate for, or against the products. Chromecast, for example, is small enough that you can take it anywhere whereas Apple TV must remain planted.
