10 Julian Assange Inspirations

Wikileaks creator Julian Assange is in hot water this week with the British government. Wanted in Sweden on sexual assault charges, Assange is currently holed up at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, England, where he was recently granted immunity and further immunity in Ecuador.

The complicated case surrounding both Assange and his creation of Wikileaks involves many jurisdictions and many parties fighting to get their hands on the web master. As an activist, Assange has released information to the public that was privy to only a select few within the American government. His idea of open sources and sharing has been admired by some and discouraged by others. Between the British, Swedish and American governments, Assange is an international man of (alleged) crime.
