Hola! My name is Lorena. I am a full time student taking fashion design and I hope to one day make it in the fashion industry. I am really into the street and skateboard culture and the designs I create reflect them. I am a HUGE fan of brands like The Hundreds and Supreme and believe they are an iconic stitch in the fashion world. I also love high-fashion like Chanel and Christian Louboutin. I am also in LOVE with Marc Jacobs!
I am also trying my hand at fashion blogging and I am really hoping you guys enjoy my posts!

What is unique that's not in your bio?

Hmmm. What is unique that's not in your bio? Well, I think something unique about me is my ability to connect and bond with people in general. I have friends from all walks of life. I don't judge and I keep an open mind in learning about other cultures, religious beliefs and I really enjoy learning about them and all new things in general. I also love animals!

What's your favorite accomplishment?

I think my favorite accomplishment so far would be designing and creating my sisters wedding dress. I made it from scratch and did all the work myself.

How do you define cool?

I define cool as being different. The fashion I like reflects that. I don't like to be "safe" with fashion. I like to push the envelope.

What is your secret to uncovering trends?

Really just finding unique things from great designers who make quality products. You don't have to be well known. I personally love a lot of indie brands that make top notch products for great materials.

What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?

What don't I like about Trend Hunter? I have been on here for the last year without posting anything learning about new trends and some of my favorite pieces I have purchased to date are things I found on Trend Hunter. I love it!!!!

What is your favorite trend?

My favorite trend is almost anything with animal patterns. Love cheetah print! And anything with a vintage or quirky feel to it. I can't just pick one thing. I have soooo many favorites.

What are your tips for writing a juicy post?

I think my tips would be just being original and yourself. Be funny, throw in things you won't hear or see on a boring magazine site that has to be completely proper. Have fun!

How do you reset to be creative?

I go kayaking! I love the water and being out in nature! It recharges my batteries and gets the creativity flowing again.

What inspires or excites you?

The good in humanity and beautiful fabrics!
