Odd Names - Man Wins Right To Change His Name to Bubba
Man Wins Right To Change His Name to Bubba

Weird names seem to be all the rage these days. A trucker in the US has just won the legal right to change his name to Ynot Bubba. Previously known at Justin Brady, this dude decided that since he no longer had a relationship with his adoptive family, there was no reason to keep his name. A judge allowed him the right and he has now officially changed his name. His second choice was More Chek.

In further naming legal battle news – following on from the tale of the parents who want to call their daughter 'Metallica' – an American man has convinced a judge to let him change his name. From now on, Justin Brady will be legally known as 'Ynot Bubba'. 43-year-old Ynot is a trucker who lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He did not give a clear reason for why he decided to change his name, beyond the fact that he no longer has a relationship with the Brady family who adopted him. (metro)
