Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, a shopping complex located in Tokyo, Japan, has recently opened its doors to the public. And those doors are quite spectacular. The entranceway to the newly launched center is made out of mind-bending mirrors that close in to create a futuristic vortex-like aesthetic that will intrigue people immediately. While some people will be more concerned with what lies within the shopping complex, most others will be mesmerized by its facade.
Designed by award-winning architect Hiroshi Nakamura, the Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku reflects "the time and the season, for an ever-changing view," according to Japan Hot Now. Like the Bean is to Chicago, this entranceway is sure to become a tourist attraction. It almost encourages passersby to stop and take photos of themselves before entering the shopping center.
