Hands-Free Timed Tea - TeaCube (GALLERY)

As a tea lover, I am glad to finally see some attention being paid to the art of tea preparation. Unlike instant coffee where you can just add and stir, making a good cup of tea is all about timing. If you leave the tea bag too long, you end up with a bitter, too-strong taste. Conversely, if you do not give it enough time to steep, the flavor won’t be there. Most of the time I get distracted by something and end up forgetting the tea bag until its too late.

Designers Jieun Yang & Hanah Suh solve my problem with the cute TeaCube. Simply attach the teabag to the clip, pull it to set the timer, and put the teabag in the cup. The TeaCube will automatically draw the teabag from the water after three minutes. Drink up!
